The Reflection of Unit 3

                Time just run so quickly when I write this reflection, and I learn a lot of things for the film. All things which we learn was about the movies. Those things like film term, genre and Oscar, and the most surprised me is the genre which is different of the each movie. The movies have so many genre like adventure movie, action movie, comedy and so on.  I just know the comedy and action when I watch the movies because the actor also acting in the adventure movie, war film or crime movies, so I think the movies is action movies. I know that I was wrong with this question when I finish this unit lesson. Some genre I know is logical, but some other genre which I can’t understand like what different with thriller and horror. No different I think because all story is scared.

                If I can build a bumper sticker, I want to add the words like “one film is no the just one genre in it” because the movies can’t exist without a lot of genre in it, like comedy is not only the funny things in it, but also have the action and adventure in it. One movie is combined the main genre and a lot of different genres.

                The film not only have term and genre, but also connect to the economy. Many director want to earn more money in his movies, so they want created the movies which they like to watch, like Tyler Perry which is a movie star and director. He created the movies for the African American which show the huge market power. Let Perry earn a lot of money, and critics call his movies formulaic, like money machine. In addition, Oscar so white also is problem with the Academy awards, and I think black people need to join in them because the white maybe can’t understand the black people’s film.

                To be honest, I didn’t  know the flick meaning when I do my homework, and I guess that was meaning of one behavior. When I finish this lesson of unit 3, I was wrong again. The flick is not the behavior, it mean movie, same as film. I can’t believe that this word just another mean of movie because another mean of flick is huge different with movie. How people decided to give another mean like movie with flick. Those things let me know I still need to study hard.
